We’re thrilled to share the latest updates from the COACH project as we continue our journey to prevent early school leaving through coaching approaches. Here’s a glimpse of what’s been happening:
The COACH Final Conference held in Giulianova, Italy, was a momentous occasion! Attendees from across Europe gathered to share insights, experiences, and best practices in improving the school climate through coaching. From engaging presentations to fruitful discussions, the conference was a celebration of our collective efforts towards empowering educators and students alike. It has been lovely for teachers and students in Italy to meet with the COACH project partners at the final conference, and discover together the coaching tools and activities. Thank you to IlmioFuturo and I.I.S. “A. Serpieri” for hosting an amazing event!
The pilot implementation of our coaching approach has been a resounding success in all participating countries! Around 75 teachers from over 15 schools have been involved in the COACH pilot training across the 5 partner countries. From Ukraine to Spain, Poland to Italy, and Sweden, the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Teachers, mentors, and coaches alike have embraced our methods, witnessing firsthand the positive impact on student engagement and retention.
Local events organised as part of the COACH project have been instrumental in fostering community engagement and collaboration. Whether it’s workshops, seminars, or interactive sessions, these events have provided valuable opportunities for stakeholders to connect, learn, and share ideas. In Málaga participants enjoyed finding out more about the resources as well as after work networking opportunity in an ideal Summer setting.
